HERBICIDE APPLICATION & TIMBER STAND IMPROVEMENT TSI

       Anna's Consulting Forestry (ACF) is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania to apply herbicides in your woods to control invasive and noxious weeds.  In doing so, this allows enough sunlight to the forest floor to germinate seeds for future growth in your woodlot.  You may also want to use herbicides to stop undesirable trees from sprouting after a timber sale by stump treating trees, such as beech.  This kills the root system to prevent the undesirable trees from sprouting up.

       ACF also provides TSI work.  This includes but is not limited to cutting grapevines in your stand.  Although grapevines are a great species for wildlife in your woodlot, if they are not managed, the grapevines add weight and stress to your dominate trees and will eventually break the tops or pull the entire tree down, rendering it useless.
